Welcome to AltaConnect — Your Remote Work Journey Starts Here

We're excited you're exploring a partnership with AltaConnect. Before you take the next step, let's make sure you're set up for success.

Here's what you need to know right out of the gate.

Are you eligible?

  • To partner with AltaConnect, you'll need to meet a few key requirements:
  • You currently reside in one of our approved states (see the full list below)
  • You are a U.S. citizen — we're unable to move forward with international applicants at this time due to platform requirements
  • You have access to a reliable computer (Windows 10+, 8GB+ RAM), a USB headset, and high-speed internet
  • You understand this is a 1099 independent contractor partnership — not traditional employment

What does being a contractor mean?

As an AltaConnect independent contractor, you operate as your own business.

That means:

You set your schedule from available client intervals — work when it works for you

You are responsible for your own taxes and business expenses

Your earnings are tied to the hours you choose to service

You're expected to meet client quality and performance standards

No boss. No commute. Real accountability.
